Big Shock....

A few weeks ago Jeannie and I had the biggest shock of our lives. After 15 years of trying and pretty much accepting the fact it wasn't going to happen, Jeannie is pregnant! We found out at 12 wks, at the time of this post we are 17 weeks and scheduled to go for the gender ultrasound this coming Wednesday. 
In the meantime, I am going to try an catch up the blog and get back on a schedule.

Its crazy...

I know this is supposed to be my photography blog, but I have been to pre occupied with the loss of my bestest pal to do much shooting. Today I was out in the yard with Bella, our other chihuahua, and the neighbors came out and asked about Charlie.  They were upset that he didn't make it. They told me how he made their day when he was outside and would bark at them.

How much to charge.....

This is something I have been struggling with ever since I decided to start charging for my work. Especially since the area I live in is not one of the wealthiest areas in the state. I recently have been watching Jasmine Star on www.creativelive.com and she gave a lot of insight on how to build up a successful wedding business. She also mentioned a forum she frequented whn she was starting out, www.opensourcephoto.net While I was on that site I discovered a link to "The Greatest Pricing Guide Ever" As the name suggests its a guide to helping you establish your pricing.
