Miss Emily

This past Friday we had the chance to photograph Emily. She was full of life and attitude...lol.
Thankfully my wife came along and was able to charm Emily into being cooperative. Emily's father works on the Hanover College campus and was able to get us permission to shoot the pictures on campus. I could spend a week shooting all the beautiful buildings and views there.

Its crazy...

I know this is supposed to be my photography blog, but I have been to pre occupied with the loss of my bestest pal to do much shooting. Today I was out in the yard with Bella, our other chihuahua, and the neighbors came out and asked about Charlie.  They were upset that he didn't make it. They told me how he made their day when he was outside and would bark at them.

How much to charge.....

This is something I have been struggling with ever since I decided to start charging for my work. Especially since the area I live in is not one of the wealthiest areas in the state. I recently have been watching Jasmine Star on www.creativelive.com and she gave a lot of insight on how to build up a successful wedding business. She also mentioned a forum she frequented whn she was starting out, www.opensourcephoto.net While I was on that site I discovered a link to "The Greatest Pricing Guide Ever" As the name suggests its a guide to helping you establish your pricing.
