Snoopy Brown...

The day has finally come! My brothers Chihuahua had her pups. We were hoping she would have one that was similar in color to our Charlie, but our hopes didnt pan out. She had 3 pups, 2 boys and 1 girl. All of them white with brown spots.

Originally I had thought we would name the new puppy George. Just a name that popped in my head that I liked...but once we seen them Jeannie and I both knew we had to name the one we picked Snoopy. The problem was we needed a middle name for him ( I know we are weird like that, lol) I suggested Brown as the middle name, after Charlie. Jeannie just looked at me and said that was the name she was thinking to, so another case of me reading her mind.
So after I fixed dinner, we took a quick trip to my brothers to see the puppies and choose the one we wanted... As soon as we seen them, we immediately  knew which one was our Snoopy. He had three big spots on his left side, one over each eye and a little spot right in the middle of his forehead. He is so cute and perfect and we cant wait til he is big enough to bring home. Its going to be a long 6 weeks! That big empty spot in my heart isn't so empty anymore. I doubt it will ever be filled completely since there isn't any puppy that can fully replace my bestest pal. But I am excited to begin a new journey with what I hope will be my bestest buddy!

📸 **Capturing Moments, Creating Memories: A Year in Reflection** Happy Holidays, dear readers! As 2023 bids us farewell, I find myself pausing to reflect on the incredible journey this year has been. This year has been a whirlwind of challenges and triumphs, as I navigated the delicate dance between running my photography business, pursuing further education, and stepping into a new role as an instructor at Ivy Tech Community College. Balancing these facets of my life alongside personal endeavors tested my resilience, but I'm proud to say that I faced these challenges head-on, emerging not only as a better person but also as a more refined and evolved photographer. 🌟 **Striking the Balance: Juggling Passion and Responsibility** The delicate balance between personal and professional commitments has been a demanding yet rew...

Its crazy...

I know this is supposed to be my photography blog, but I have been to pre occupied with the loss of my bestest pal to do much shooting. Today I was out in the yard with Bella, our other chihuahua, and the neighbors came out and asked about Charlie.  They were upset that he didn't make it. They told me how he made their day when he was outside and would bark at them.

How much to charge.....

This is something I have been struggling with ever since I decided to start charging for my work. Especially since the area I live in is not one of the wealthiest areas in the state. I recently have been watching Jasmine Star on www.creativelive.com and she gave a lot of insight on how to build up a successful wedding business. She also mentioned a forum she frequented whn she was starting out, www.opensourcephoto.net While I was on that site I discovered a link to "The Greatest Pricing Guide Ever" As the name suggests its a guide to helping you establish your pricing. I haven't read it all the way thru yet, but what I have read of it, its awesome! I highly suggest taking a look at it if you are having problems with your pricing. You can find it here....
